Tony Gurden

Tony was a member of the Westpower/ElectroNet finance team from 2011 until 2019 when he made the decision to move into a more hands on role within the Lines Division, as a Network Estimator.

Tony’s new role sees him pricing internal and external work requests, ensuring the full scope of work has been considered, and that the final result will meet with the customer’s expectations and electricity network requirements.

Cole Watson

Cole commenced work with ElectroNet in the role of Trainee Line Mechanic but has subsequently gained qualification as a Distribution Line Mechanic and Faultman.  In November 2018 Cole moved into the role of Networks Co-Ordinator.  In this role Cole supports the Lines Supervisor and Operations Manager by co-ordinating the projects and maintenance works undertaken by the ElectroNet Lines Division. 

Matthew Kerr

Matt Kerr is a qualified Distribution & Transmission Line Mechanic, including Live Line competency, who was promoted into the role of Lines Supervisor after demonstrating his organisational and team leadership skills.

Matt supports the Operations Manager by organising the lines workforce to meet the ever growing demands of a large and varied client base.

Matt has led a number of large electrical projects, along with the installation of a UFB network throughout the West Coast.

Sandy Keown-Scott

Sandy has a strong background in management, health and safety, business administration and human resources across the civil contracting, mining, retail and wholesale industries. She has been self-employed, worked for SMEs, an SOE and multi-billion-dollar corporations, and understands the challenges of maintaining quality standards in terms of staff performance and project delivery.

Steve Jacobs

Steve has been involved in the Electrical Industry since 1984 and currently holds the title of Transmission Lines Supervisor.  This involves pricing, planning of jobs and supervision of staff in the field.
Over the past ten years he has supervised the building of several new pole lines in both the North Island and the South Island.

Phil Gardyne

Phil is the Senior Project Manager for the ElectroNet Group.  His role extends to the planning and coordination of projects throughout the ElectroNet group.  As part of his role, Phil develops risk and issue registers and tracks progress of projects to ensure mitigation steps are implemented and effective.  Phil also implements quality measures as detailed in ElectroNets Quality Management Plan, and ensures accurate and timely reporting to the client.

Robyn Scott

Robyn has been in a safety coordination role with ElectroNet for the last 15 years and holds a NZIM Level 6 Dip-HSM Qualification.  Robyn is responsible for the development and compliance of safety matters for the ElectroNet group and reports directly to the Chief Executive.

Kent Martin

Kent has vast experience with the Westpower Network, and provides a line design, build and maintenance capability that is second to none. Kent and his team work closely with new and existing customers to ensure that network extensions are built in the most cost effective manner, and that the final result offers the optimum solution. Kent is also involved in the management of ElectroNet Transmission Limited.

Pete Theron

Pete has been involved in the electrical industry for over 35 years in various roles in the construction, projects and service environment. Pete has extensive experience in project management with specific focus on large turnkey projects. With ElectroNet's extensive product portfolio Pete provides leadership on turnkey projects from concept through to testing and commissioning.
